Dr. Miyashiro is a board-certified dermatologist trained at the University of São Paulo Medical School. They completed a residency in dermatology and postgraduate training in cutaneous oncology at Hospital das Clínicas, followed by a PhD in Medicine and a postdoctoral fellowship at the same institution. Dr. Miyashiro currently practices as a dermatologist at Hospital das Clínicas and at the São Paulo State Cancer Institute (ICESP).

💭 What are you passionate about in medicine or recreationally? I am passionate about being able to help relieve people’s suffering and contribute to scientific knowledge, especially in the field of cutaneous lymphomas. Outside of medicine, I enjoy spending meaningful, quality time with my family.
🏆 A short story or academic achievement you are proud of: At my first EORTC Cutaneous Lymphoma Task Force meeting in 2014, I received the Young Investigator Award. I hadn’t even known the award existed, so it was a truly memorable and unexpected moment—especially because it came after presenting my work to the leading experts in the field
