Dr. Kevin Imrie is a hematologist, educator, and medical leader who serves as a Clinical Hematologist at The Ottawa Hospital and Professor of Medicine at the University of Ottawa. He is a past-president of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. His leadership at the Royal College spanned more than 15 years and helped shape national training standards, accreditation, and physician competence frameworks.

Dr. Imrie also served in leadership roles in medical education at the University of Toronto including Vice-Chair of Education in the University of Toronto’s Department of Medicine, Program Director for both Internal Medicine and Hematology, and Associate Dean in Postgraduate Medical Education.

His contributions have been recognized with major honours, including the CAME Ian Hart Award for Distinguished Contribution to Medical Education, the Charles Mickle Fellowship, and multiple awards for innovation, mentorship, and educational leadership.

Dr Imrie has had a long-standing interest in cutaneous lymphoma having established multidisciplinary skin lymphoma clinics first at Sunnybrook in Toronto and more recently at the Ottawa Hospital. Dr Imrie has played a major role in the establishment of the newly launched Canadian Skin Lymphoma Network (skinlymphoma.ca)
