Dr. Tyler Jordan is a board-certified Veterinary Dermatologist and an Assistant Professor of Dermatology at the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Jordan received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the Ontario Veterinary College at the University of Guelph in 2014. Thereafter, Dr. Jordan completed a rotating internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery at the Ohio State University, a residency in Veterinary Dermatology at UC Davis, and a PhD in Comparative Biomedical Sciences at North Carolina State University.

In his current role, Dr. Jordan divides his time between providing care to animals presenting to the UC Davis Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital, teaching, and running a research laboratory focused on naturally occurring inflammatory and neoplastic diseases of dogs, cats, and horses. Dr. Jordan’s current work focuses on characterizing canine cutaneous epitheliotropic T-cell lymphoma as a spontaneous large animal model of human disease.
