Professor Pablo L. Ortiz-Romero is a leading expert in dermatologic oncology and Professor of Dermatology at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. He also serves as Head of the Dermatology Department at Hospital Universitario 12 de Octubre.

Earning his MD and PhD at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, Dr. Ortiz-Romero’s research centers on cutaneous lymphomas, particularly mycosis fungoides and Sézary syndrome. His work includes leading multicenter European trials and contributing to the development of clinical guidelines.

Overall, Dr. Ortiz-Romero is highly respected for his leadership in dermatologic oncology, pioneering CTCL care in Spain. For 7 years, he served as Secretary General of the EORTC Cutaneous Lymphoma Tumor Group, and is presently a board member of the EORTC CLTG, as well as serving on the Board of Directors of the International Society for Cutaneous Lymphomas.
