Professor Julia Scarisbrick, MBChBhons, FRCP, MD, is a consultant dermatologist leading the Cutaneous Lymphoma Service at University Hospitals Birmingham’s Rare Diseases Centre. She holds a Chair in Immunology and Immunotherapy at the University of Birmingham and trained in London at St Thomas’ and University College London.

She is the current President of the International Society for Cutaneous Lymphomas and serves in leadership roles with the EORTC Cutaneous Lymphoma Taskforce and the UK Photopheresis Society Charity.

A prolific clinical and molecular researcher, Dr. Scarisbrick has:

She co-leads the PROCLIPI Study with Youn Kim (Stanford University), a multicentre international study collecting data on all aspects of CTCL, including treatment and quality of life data. Recently, PROCLIPI published the CLIPI prognostic index, which can precisely stratify advanced MF and SS patients at initial diagnosis into low, intermediate, and high-risk groups for overall survival. She is devoted to improving outcomes for patients with skin lymphoma, including better quality of life and survival.
